Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated west in Uganda at the border to Congo. The park was appointed World Heritage Site in 1994. The landscape is low land mountains with rain forest, steep ridges and slippery valleys and high. The area around is heavily populated and small villages is also situated within the park itself.
