'The front desk man was extremely helpful and kind. We loved the location and had a partial view of ocean from the property deck. It was new and well decorated and very clean. There are many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. There is a pharmacy across the road and lil boutiques and galleries. Highly recommend!!!'

'DeBrett is a beautiful hotel, with a very original interior design. Location is perfect in downtown Auckland. Room was clean, service good. The free daily drink in the guest-only library room is a very nice feature and gives the hotel a home-like feeling. Complimentary continental breakfast is basic but good. Hot breakfast comes at additional cost. The restaurant Kitchen was very good, we enjoyed a lovely dinner. Only downside is the noise in the restaurant, the acoustics are so bad that a big...
