Snorkeled at Black Rock beach and swam with the sea turtles and fish only found in Hawaii . The condo had a full kitchen that we used through-out the stay. We never ran out of things to do. 'Location was great, amenities were great! Waking up to bug bites was horrible scary., Bugs under the bed dead bugs lined the bedroom floor boards. Piss ants covering counter top in kitchen. My own personal blanket was taken and never returned. I am saddened, my experience with this stay was so disappointing. Would I recommend this place to my own family and friends? No.'

'The pictures on Expedia do not represent the current condition of the Royal Kahana Maui by OUTRIGGER. We've stayed at other Royal locations: Royal Kona and Royal Lahina so I was expecting better. The exterior looks run down and is currently under construction. The room was the one I booked but looked older than pictured and smelled like a second hand store. Once we got over the initial shock in differences it was fine. The staff is super friendly and there was free coffee and a water dispenser...

We were happy to come home to this place because it was quiet and we had A/C and they did not! It was hot 84 most of the time so being able to sleep in a cool bedroom was priceless!
