Lac Sainte-Marie

Ronduit goed, zowel de omgeving als de accomodatie.

We stayed there because friends from the UK were booked in by their cruise company awaiting their ship. The price was way above what we would have wished but for the convenience of visiting we elected to splurge. The location is excellent for visiting Old Montreal. While the hotel staff were very helpful, in some cases they were unaware of some issues such as the restaurant availability, which had private functions only during our stay. The valet and concierge staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. Some areas of the hotel (including public washrooms) were not immaculate. The guest rooms were okay but certainly not a cut above many other hotels in which we stayed in the past. All in all the experience for such an exclusive price point was a bit disappointing.

This space is very minimalist which highlights its cleanliness. It is centrally located - you really can't beat the location if you want explore Old Montreal. The view out the windows is pretty neat too. There is no receptionist or concierge, but we never needed one. The elevator is old and cool. The kitchen has bare bones cooking, implements, but no extra spices or food storage materials.
