'Room is located in casino and we exptected a spacious and comfortable room and that’s what we got. On site there were great restaurants and bars and of ourse lot’s of gambling. Great stay for 1 night'

Each room as well as all the common areas were beautifully appointed with so many interesting touches of decor... the attention to detail was entertaining and simply delightful. I highly recommend The Lodge at Grant's Trail. My husband and I would definitely enjoy staying there again, next time we're in the St. Louis area.'

'This was my third stay at The Principal Hotel. The history of this property is unique and the rooms are amazing - essentially in brand-new condition and very tastefully designed and decorated. I've eaten at the adjoining restaurant, the Graphite, on one occasion. Amazing food! (When the Graphite is closed on Mondays, I eat at the Thai House restaurant within blocks of the hotel. Delicious and affordable meals!) The hotel is easy to get to and Columbia seems like a nice, safe town. I plan on...

'Parking was comfortable and safe to park. We always stay at this site because of the cleanliness and very comfortable beds! Breakfast is wonderful!'

'De kamer was ruim en schoon. Ruime koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat op de kamer. In het hotel verbleven veel gezinnen met jonge kinderen. Daardoor was er veel lawaai in de lobby, in de gang en bij het ontbijt. Bij het ontbijt waren meer problemen, waardoor er maar een zeer beperkt aanbod was. Ik moest zelfs om boter gaan vragen. '

'Everything’s great about the stay except for the really hard old bed and the pillows that needed to be replaced. They were so misshapen and not worth being on the bed at all. I did not get a good nights sleep either night I was there.'

'We had 5 people in our group with 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch, as I pulled out the couch the mattress was thin and had very dark stains on it,the ceiling fan was so dusty the the dust was hanging over the blades overall the place was just filthy., would not recommend '
