"Dormy Inn Shibuya was an excellent stay for our purposes. Close to Shibuya and Harajuku stations for connections, shopping and eating options. While some staff lacked knowledge of English, they were always extremely helpful. The hotel itself was in fine form, too. Rooms a bit small, but that's Japan for you. And facilities and cleaning services were great. Lovely onsen bathing facilities. Recommended!"

"Hele slechte bed die inzakt. Kamer was niet echt schoon. Zie bv vieze plekken op tv en muren. Er waren geen thee-, en koffiezakjes aanwezig, terwijl bij andere APA hotel wel aanwezig waren. Te weinig hanghaakjes in slaap en badkamer. In de nacht is het buiten zeer luidruchtig door ambulances etc. De liftdeuren functioneren helemaal niet goed. Ze sluiten gewoon dicht, terwijl je deels er tussen staat. We komen absoluut niet meer terug. Het is zeker geen 3 ster hotel. Echter, 1 pluspuntje: personeel was wel vriendelijk."

"Personnel was just amazing! The room, for Tokyo norms, was actually quite spacious. It was always spotless clean after I returned from work. I didn't have lunch or dinner here so I do not know if it is good, but twice I had the breakfast and I found that I really got excellent quality. The buffet is a mix of East and West, with many warm options such as beef ragout pasta and grilled chicken (if that is what you like) but you also find the traditional Western items there such as cheese, smoked salmon, eggs etc. The hotel was close to a railway station which I could use with my Japan rail pass. It's in a quiet and safe area and when you look out of the window you are not going to see many neon signs or those typical Tokyo neon lit streets, but you are just a very short drive removed from Shinjuku station which provides more action. You get a personal terrace which I found great. I personally had the view of the park which was amazing. Personally I appreciated the quiet surrounding, but it's a matter of preference. I did not use the common pool but they have one. I did use the gym though. It is a nice clean gym. Putting some weights there would be a nice addition for those of us who like to work with weights instead of doing cardio. All in all, I would say 9/10. Thanks a lot. "
