Chalets in Hana Forest Reserve

'Seriously, this was such an amazing place to stay! The lodging itself was great with plenty of room, WiFi, refrigerator, oven, laundry, etc. But the real joy was the property itself and all the animals! There are chickens, geese, ducks, goats, dogs, horses, cows, a pig, a mule, etc. So unique and amazing.'

'This review is for the 2nd week of May 2026. We were looking forward to visiting Hāna, & the slower pace. We did not want to do the Hāna Hwy all in one day. We recommend 2-3 days tops in Hāna.Pros:-pretty plants around the property-laundry access, covered parking -strong WiFi & cable TV -oscillating fans provided -close to town, beaches, popular sites-no security issues even though windows need to be kept open due to no A/CCons:-most expensive & least clean vacation house we’ve stayed in-geckos...

'Huisje ligt leuk verscholen in het groen en het was schoon. Helaas was er geen hot tub aanwezig. Een normale koekenpan, wijnglazen, theedoeken en een waterkoker ontbrak. Er was niet genoeg comfortabele zitgelegenheid voor vier personen en het beddengoed kon niet verwisseld worden. Voor ons was de prijskwaliteit verhouding dus niet akkoord. '

'Be warned that even tho you can book thru Expedia the property chastised me in capital letters to never communicate thru Expedia. Perhaps put that in the listing. Also the kitchen had 2 forks and spoons only. The pictures look nicer than it is'

'5 star property. No need to overthink it, just book it. Family of 4 including two teenage daughters had a wonderful stay. Property had everything we needed. Helped break up our Maui vacation and allowed us to explore Hana area. Homoa beach super close by as well. Wonderful touches throughout property and fun art as well.'
