If you need a soft, thinner pillow, you may want to bring your own, or make a special request). Central location, close to everything. River access via private dock or bridge to public swimming area. 'The host was adamant that we remove our shoes in the foyer but the floors in the rented room were filthy. My feet were Black shortly after getting out of the shower. The mattress and pillows were almost impossible to sleep on. The whole place just had a weird vibe about it'

'I would rate this stay 6/10. The location was excellent—close to the SkyTrain, shopping, and only a short Uber ride to most places. The neighborhood felt safe, and the property had a secure code entry for first time B& B stayers like me who was concerned about safety. The room was much smaller than expected, with barely enough space for the bed and luggage. The shared bathroom also could have been cleaner. 'Two days before our stay we were notified that we were being moved to a different rental which apparently was an upgrade. What was not clear in the photo was the lack of space above the mattress (double) on the floor(no “bed”) and the ceiling. Not high enough to sit up while on the bed and have to bum scoot to the end and climb down a very precarious ladder. We both nearly hurt ourselves on it (super slippery) and we are pretty fit. It was heated using space heaters and while on, cannot use...

'Very cosy cabana. Everything you need is there which was hard to believe initially. Every time I thought something was missing, there it was.The hot tub and outdoor propane fire pit were highly inviting and enjoyable as well. Random cat popped by and hung out for awhile too. '
