'We (family of four) had a comfortable stay in this house. The kitchen seems quite new and modern. The location is near the center of the town where you find shops and places to eat, we’d recommend the Indian place. From this house we made several trips to the lakes which are beautiful.'

'We really enjoyed staying at this property. We went to a wedding up the road and used the house as a base for walking locally and in the Lake District. If you would like to eat at the butchers arms, we recommend making a booking for dinner- we missed out. The greyhound in shap was excellent though. '

'We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together'

'We found the property very clean and all the information required was given prior to our arrival. The property is set in a small development in a rural village with the local pub and a children's park within walking distance. I would recommend this property to my friends and family in the future.'

'Staying at The Cottage was like being at home, welcoming and comfortable. It was even decorated for Christmas when we arrived! Benjamin was a wonderful host and responded quickly to our queries. The location is perfect for getting to many beautiful locations, there is a well-stocked small grocery store down the block and parking was always available. We will certainly stay here again and might just move in!'
