'Because there are so many beautiful countries and cities across the world, we make it a habit to never go to the same place twice. Marquis is our exception. This was our second year in a row to visit. We returned because the resort is stunning and clean. The food and drinks are excellent. Most of all, we returned because of the staff. Several staff members remembered us, and one called us by name. The Marquis is not a huge resort. It feels very intimate. This allows the staff to get to know you...

'Fantastic stay however, we were in Garza Blanca Cancun and we found that the layout, breakfast hall (breakfast in general) was overall much better.. more option and better set-up. The up keep of the whole hotel is very well kept however once again we are comparing it to the Cancun one and it is slightly out-dated (the furniture, style) is abit old. But the staff were great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our Conceige lady named Sam was amazing! Nothing was too big nor small for her to help us...

'very elegant hotel. great architecture. NO beach really very narrow- and no chairs on the beach (not sure why). food for meals limited. if you want to sit on a beach this is not good. we did not have hot water for a few days and they were not that helpful. but still a 5 star experience'
