'We ended up getting a second room when we checked in. The ac in that room was not working very well. I forgot to report it though. The property is very nice.'

'We reserved 2 queen beds as it was my husband and teenage child and they were given a king bed and they had to ask for a roll away. Their rationale was that they were very busy. They needed maintenance for the shower. Felt overpriced for the service given.'

'There were definitely some spots that looked really cool. I just think they could maybe go with the boutique flair a little bit more so that we could get the feel of such a grand old hotel better. the front desk person while very pleasant was not helpful at all as far as telling us where the elevator even was at, what time they had breakfast or about the restaurant. She really didn’t give us any information so we were a little disappointed in that.'

'This is not a 4 star property by any means. It’s a little run down, overpriced, very basic room, good enough to shower and sleep. It’s located at the edge of the plaza district, very nice part of town, easy drive to downtown and other districts. Self parking in the garage was easy enough, $30/day.'

'Great location near US 70 and Swope Park/Starlight Amphitheater. Easy check in and out with helpful staff. Room was clean but faced US 70 under construction and was somewhat noisy. Hotel is older but was in decent condition. Good price. I would stay here again for short term stays.'

'Lovely room with a great view. Staff is excellent. Location is absolutely perfect: There's a streetcar stop directly outside that drops you off at the Plaza on one end and tons of other attractions on the other end — Union Station, World War I Memorial, much more. Westport restaurants are very close by. CONS: The food is vastly overpriced and middling at best. The breakfast buffet is currently $25 per person and the food is not better than you'd get at any breakfast buffet. I don't mind paying...
