'This is my favorite property on SSI. Our room overlooked the pool and the ocean. They have excellent service, several pools overlooking the ocean, and beach access as well as a restaurant and bar inside. It's everything you need for a worry free vacation.'

Wel gehorig, we hadden last van luidruchtige buren. Handig dat het ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prima hotel als budgetvriendelijke optie. '

'Great ocean view room but room above must have been rented to elephants who stayed up all night stomping around. Shower water pressure was awful and sink did not drain. Garbage was strewn all over in the AM but it was a holiday weekend. Also there is a surprise $30 a night resort fee that was charged separately when checking out that was no included in the Expedia charge. We've stayed here before and had a wonderful time but this room was not wonderful and did not get charged a daily resort...

'What a beautiful hotel location right in the beach village of Jekyll Island! Rooms were beautiful and very clean. There was a slight issue with our room temperature as the air condition did not work, but we were only there for one night and did not complain about it. However, we did mention during check out and they did over compensation for the inconvenience. Great staff! Would definitely return.'

We also utilized the bike rentals for 2 consecutive days - it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend this place and return again in the future.'

Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). 'Top verblijf, lekker rustig. Hotelkamer was nieuw met fantastisch uitzicht op de moerassen. Het eiland zelf heeft een heel ontspannen sfeer, wij waren 1 nacht op doorreis maar 2 nachten is geen overbodige luxe. '

'This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury...
