We did walk the "direct beach access" path to discover it takes you over to another street, then you walk down about a block to get to the beach access. « We absolutely loved the hot tub on the second story back porch. It faced the yard, not the canal. The place was cozy for two people but no more. There is an induction plate to cook on, so we brought our non-stick induction pan to make life easy. We loved hanging in the hammock in the porch area. We also enjoyed setting on the bench overlooking the canal. Take the exit by the fire station to find the place easily. The flashing tower is a great landmark close to the accommodation. « Michael was responsive and helpful. Very nice to be able to walk to the beach within 10 minutes. The apartment parking lot and area is a little rough but the condo itself was nicely updated and comfortable for 4. Almost too close to all the action in Carolla with it being behind a gas station and several stores but overall a great place for the money. »

« This was a great stay for two nights. The location is a bit off the beaten path but a nice spot directly on the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. Great views from the balcony and large windows of the waterway and the boats and ships passing through. The room was nearly perfect for two guests, staying two nights. The bathroom was a bit tight and could use a little refreshing. Overall a nice , quiet and relaxing experience. »
