The location of the accomodation is very central in Makati, directly connected to a big shopping center. Lobby and the hotel in general look nice, but the rooms or service are not nearly 5 stars worth. The room looked pretty nice, but bathroom was dated and showering in the bathtub behind a somewhat dirty curtain is not what you'd expect in a 5 star hotel that charges 5 star rates. The extra bed we had was a shame, looked like a cheap hostel bed and slept like that as well, while for the extra charge we could've almost booked another room in some 3 star hotel. The charge for the extra bed didn't even include an extra breakfast!! Breakfast was ok, but kind of mediocre as well, breakfast room carpet needs replacement, doesn't look very inviting now. Staff handled complaints about the extra bed poorly, i had to ask 3 times before anything happened, that's not the attentive service you expect from a 5 star hotel! Doorman was attentive, arranged taxi and noted their details to ensure our safe trip. All in all, it's an ok hotel, but for the price paid i expected more.
