Kamer en uitzicht waren TOP, zwembad zeker ook in orde, om de een of andere reden waren de ontbijten niet kwalitatief. fruitsap was een ramp, de eiercorner was dan wel weer ok. De dinner migelijkheden waren jammer. Niet gezellig, uitnodigend..

Pelangi Resort consists of a beautiful main building and several buildings with one or more hotel rooms in them. Ours had 8. We stayed at the first (top) floor with a view of the lake and standing on the balcony, which was spacious, we could see the sea and beach between the other buildings.
Staff were very friendly and forthcoming. The place is clean. There are three restaurants. Due to our family's preferences we chose to eat the most at the grill - with Western food. The cooks aren't too schooled in this, so don't expect the highest quality. The Asian restaurant was far better but a bit too spicy for our untrained tastebuds.
The pools are very nice and fun for kids. The private beach is beautiful.
We absolutely loved staying here.

Gorgeous setting, wonderful service
"The resort is nestled in the rain forrest. Monkeys and butterflies everywhere. The beach is magnificent and calm (no music, no motorized water sports, thankfully!). The pools are nice and so are the showers etc. The restaurants are good although rather expensive. Breakfast was great. Only downside ..."

"room was comfortable but there was no service lift to go to upper floor which is a hassle for me as i have a big luggage with me. the water pressure in the shower was poor. serivce at the cafe d'luaq was also slow. other than that it was a pleasant stay"
