Costa Blanca: Goedkope Vakanties

Vriendelijk personeel bij toch flink wat onrustige mensen in de kerstfase. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. Voor ons voor herhaling vatbaar.

One word GREAT. We definitely will come back

Port Alicante is a great hotel to book if you want to visit Alicante. It’s close to the beach, supermarket and nice restaurants.

Pool & Sundeck • HORRENDOUS. Like a war zone. Sunbeds packed together like sardines zero space to move • People leave towels to "reserve" beds, then disappear for hours • They have some system? It absolutely doesn't work. No staff checking anything on one full side of the area • One half has a pool and lounge beds, the other side only beds and chaos • 4 umbrellas for 70 beds. Not enough shade, and many umbrellas don’t even work. • We saw guests arguing over umbrellas. One family left for a short swim — came back and their umbrella was taken • Towels are rough and overused • Very loud music at the pool • Small biting bugs/fleas on your skin — painful • Many pigeons everywhere, especially near the showers. They poop on everything Hotel & Room • Only one small bottle of water for the entire stay, even for two guests • Elevator broke and took ages to fix • Air conditioning not working on all floors • Room was cleaned well the first 2 days, then slacked off. Only 1 towel set for 2 people. No tissues for 2 days until I asked. Extra towels were never delivered • Level upgrade? Not worth it. Pool still overcrowded. Free drinks/snacks, yes, but still no space and same issues Check-in: • Check-in 4PM, and until then, you can’t use the pool, get a towel, or even go to the toilet without asking at reception. Early flight? Too bad — no hotel facilities until 4PM • Reception was very rude about the fact I booked via Expedia. • Tried multiple times to add my Melia account — they refuse

Echt een zakelijk hotel.Geen balkon dat was echt een minpunt. Bar was saai en om 23.00 uur al dicht. Uitstraling verouderd maar wel schoon
