'This hotel was an older, but elegant, well kept hotel. The service was excellent from checking in to breakfast to housekeeping. The hotel seemed a little out of the way, but a free city bus to the outlets was close by. There was a beautiful garden onsite and both the Western breakfast and Japanese breakfast were delicious. The rooms were well apportioned and very large.'

'No Wifi access on the first day and only at the lobby. Only few staffmembers could speak some English. Unfriendly staff. Anouncments Etc almost only in Japanese. Swimmingpool closes at 4 pm. A part of our room's sealing was only 185cm high!!!This hotel is clearly aiming at Japanese guests only. Location is convenient.'

'Tu en room was absolutely stunning with the private hot tub. Don’t bother eating there though. It s a waste of your money. The shuttle was very convenient to get to the train station and visit.'

'The property is located in a quiet corner of Hakone and outstandingly beautiful with gorgeous private onsen. The staff was delightful and very helpful, overall this was a beautiful stay, very relaxing and the location is absolutely stunning. My friend even managed to spot a raccoon dog during our stay.'

'The property is relatively huge and everything is well-equipped. You will feel safe using the items they provide. The bath on basement is extremely huge and iconic for relaxation. Negatives are that you won’t have much space to open up your luggage. '

'Great stay, excellent breakfast and service. The hotel is on walking distance of the trainstation ( be sure to exit on the backside of the station). There are lots of Rental car companies in the neighbourhood and shopping mall Ishibashi plaza on walking distance. The Korean BBQ Yakiniku a bit further down the same road is excellent. I recommend this hotel.'
