« Really beautiful house, renovated to a high standard, and retaining lots of original character and charm. Really well equipped, very comfortable, and set in a brilliant location for walking around the cathedral, the castle, exploring the historic little streets, doing some shopping and trying out the independent cafes and bars. Would point out that the ceiling height is quite low at the sides in the top bedroom as it’s in the attic space, so any taller people would need to be aware of that, but...

« The house is exceptionally well presented, top quality finish and very comfortable. Everything needed is provided and the grade 2 listed building has been very well refurbished although the stairs can be a little tricky if you've got any mobility deficiencies or you are of advanced years. »

« Overall the property was clean,moden and had everything needed for our stay.However,the pull out bed was not v user friendly and uncomfortable which was disappointing!I think the lodge was catered more for 6 people particularly the sofa area,not enough seats.There was also a issue with the back door as in it was stiff to open.We enjoyed our stay and loved relaxing in the hot tub,many thanks »

« The property is lovely. We had a look around when we got there and its spacious with plenty of storage. There was tea and sugar in the cupboards as well as a comprehensive welcome pack including a map and the menus of nearby takeaways. The beds are comfy, the sofa is comfy, the shower was good, theres also a downstairs bathroom whcih was great as we were 3 people. Would definitely stay here again. »

« We had a fabulous stay, the property was beautiful, very clean, and lovely decor. ideally situated for site seeing and found a lovely Italian cafe over the road, the owner was so nice. The only negative was there was not enough pots (serving dishes) for nibbles etc. everything else was perfect. Would definitely visit again. »

« Amazing stay, we went as a team from work as we were running a stall at the showground, perfect location. Very comfortable and modern house with ample bedrooms and space for large groups, would highly recommend. Aaron was very accommodating and was very quick at returning emails. A 5 Star from me! »

« We spent 2 nights at this lovely property close to the cathedral. We particularly chose it as we were going to a concert at the cathedral & wanted somewhere near-by. We were certainly not disappointed. The property was clean and very well equipped with lovely touches throughout . Information from the owner was just right & we really enjoyed our stay.
