I wish i could give positive feedback. House was clean, which was very important for me. the beds were comfortable. The entry door lock needs some help. it is a struggle to open the door. Knob is very close to the door frame, which makes it hard to open. You better be fast to puch in 10 key numbers, or you have to start over. We never could luck the door with the first try it took several tries. The sliding door to the laundry room must be fixed ! ! It was loose and fell out, almost hitting my 12 year old daughter. House is located on a little hill, but next to the bussy road, what makes it very noisy, especially when motorcycles go pass by. If you are in a search for quite a place, this is NOT your house. Description of the house says free Wi-Fi, but we didn't have a wifi at all. If you are planning to do some work while you are going to be ready to have a problem with that. Few light fixtures needs to be fixed .

Upon arrival, 15 minutes early (with groceries in the car) had sit outside and Wait exactly until four oclock. Could not get the door to unlock. Had to call Vascar for detaiil instructions. Then inside and it had not been cleaned. Called Vascar back and had to sit outside and wait while they made the bed and cleaned the cabin. Never could get the lock to work, so we left it unlocked every time we left. The wi-fi password was 20 letter/ numbers long. Very time consumming. Had salt but no pepper. Wash clothes were very dingy. Certainly need new ones. Would not stay again.

LOVED our stay here. Drive wasn’t bad- drove through the Smokies to get there and it was BEAUTIFUL! Cabin as described and so so cute. Everything staying in the Smokies should be. Peaceful, very scenic, great place for birding! Had no problem with the lock on front door or the couch. If you are looking for groceries, produce, or a brewery, Sylva is the cutest little town about 10 mins away. Or, drive through the Smokies to get to Gatlinburg but that place is crawling with tourists. Sylva is much more quiet and scenic. Thank you so much family jewel, we’d love to come back

Update the furniture and kitchen.

First the positive: beautiful view, clean house, driveway not to bad. Now the negative: please lord get new furniture in the living room, that futon" couch" has got to go!!! the fridge is loud everytime it comes on and very out dated. Now I seen people say how well stocked this house was. Sorry I didn't see that. I would suggest those that go here bring everything you would need. My wife was looking for a baking pan to reheat something there was none. She looked for some foil nope not there. We've renting other cabin that has had everything you would need but your food and clothes. For what we paid for 3 nights I have to say we were very disappointed. Feel like we were over charge for this cabin.
