Hôtel près de Volcan Atitlan (Santiago Atitlán)

« Endroit et personnel incroyable!! »

« Con: Unhelpful staff. The tours organized by the hotel are overpriced. We were asked several times by the restaurant staff to buy them boat rides. The restaurant food is really not good. Didn't even think about doing laundry there: $2 US for panties and $1.50 US for boxer shorts (which is a bit sexist). You have to pay $5 US for a clean towel, even after 3 days at the hotel. Also, the bathroom was very old and not quite as good as the photos. The only positive point is the incredible view of...

« It's a beautiful place in a beautiful village. Walking distance from the lake and local marketplace. Great fresh local food everywhere and ferrys or private boat rides to other villages. Inside parking and terrace is a plus. »

« Everything was perfect, Astrid is very professional and helpful. Thank you !! »

« This hotel is a small property operated and I presume owned by a family. Most of the guests are Spanish speaking as is the family. Although I do not speak Spanish I was able to communicate adequately with my limited Spanish and the staff/family limited English. The property is located about a 10-15 minute walk along a busy main street from the lake. At night the narrow or non-existent sidewalk caused one to be in close contact with the busy traffic when walking h »

« This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location surrounded by lush gardens. It lacks some of the amenities you expect at this level (gym, fridge in the room, tea making facilities) and the helicopters that come and go to the hotel’s helipad are a real nuisance. However, my real reason for the 4/5 grade is because of all the bird cages. Toucans are meant to be free. »

« Beautiful view, clean and cozy cabin. The host is very nice and responsive. »
