'The room was pretty clean and the staff were friendly. However, no breakfast available despite it being listed at booking. Toilet was loosely secured, shower was lukewarm, coffee maker in room was obviously not used for a while. The bathroom light and fan were motion sensor activated and couldn’t be disabled and so this was annoying in the middle of the night. It was ok but I wouldn’t stay here again.'

'Gorgeous grounds covered in lovely gardens and quaint seating areas. Excellent service, great spa (had a great massage). Very quiet property overall. Great restaurants ten minutes up the road. Check in/out and parking very easy with automated text messages. Breakfast started a little late for this East Coaster.'

'Loved this place. A small hiccup at check-in but it was sorted out within a few minutes. Great, clean cabin and amenities, fabulous location among the redwoods, and brilliantly helpful and friendly staff. We'd happily return.'

'I never ended up staying at the property as when checking in they gave away the room of the couple we were traveling with. Though advertised as "guaranteed" they overbooked the property and the only reason I got the last room was because I checked in before them when we arrived.
