'An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake. 'Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. 'We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here.'

'The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna.'

'We visited for Mums birthday in March there were 4 of us plus one dog. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable and not too far from the main buildings. I visited the pool two mornings and really enjoyed the facilities. It is a great base for exploring the West of Scotland with some beautiful scenery . We had a takeaway from the restaurant and it was delicious and well worth a try.'

'This is the second time we have stayed in walled garden.cottage no. 2. My two grandchildren love it but.I think maybe it could.do with a.wee freshen.up. On the other hand I cannot praise your customer service highly enough, especially one of your reception staff named Alwyn. She was the nicest , most helpful lady I have ever come across. I will definitely be back .'
