I wish I could give this property 10 stars instead of 5. It literally had EVERY single thing we could have wanted for our huge family reunion (4 families, kids aging from 1-17). All the baby gear, every single thing you'd want at the beach (tons of towels, life jackets for all ages, buckets, chairs, floaties, kayaks, etc). The kitchen was fully stocked with every gadget or appliance needed, everything was clean and streamlined. Genuinely the best stay we could have imagined!

An amazing week

Great location

We loved being close to the lake with a beautiful sandy beach! We enjoyed the easy to access kayaks, and having chairs with a shaded area to sit in. Great access to golf and restaurants, and a fun town to shop in. Spacious home with everything you could need. We will be back!

Amazing visit

The property was a perfect location. We took a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and spent the rest of the time at the property. The rental had everything you could possibly need! Lots of puzzles and games for all ages. Kitchen was well stocked. Beach was gorgeous. Communication was awesome!

A great week in a terrific property

Everything about this property is exactly as stated/pictured ion website. It is hard to imagine it being any better. My wife and I have been coming to the Sutton’s Bay Area for several years and this is the best yet. The only negative was the road you need to cross to the private beachfront - not really a quiet residential street - 45 mph with some driving much faster - no problem for adults but could be an issue for families with children under 12.. the only take-away and a minor one at that. A spectacular week. Thank you.

Great location and property!

We loved our stay here! Pictures are very accurate. We wondered what the road in between the beach and house would be like and it was fairly quiet. Not private by any means, but not a busy or main road. Everything was clean and there were tons of toys and puzzles and games for our family to use and play with! The owner was very accessible and responded quickly to questions. The front yard is AMAZING and has really beautiful landscaping. Beds are comfortable and everything was very clean! Overall we were super happy with our stay!

How wonderful

What a wonderful place! The yard with all the flowers and the hidden toad decorations, the beach with the covered table, kayaks, fire pit. Not to mention the gorgeous location. And we managed to cook dinner every night for 10 people in the fully equipped kitchen, including baking birthday cakes. Fantastic responses from very friendly owners. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our two adult children, their spouses, and our 4 grand children. I can confidently speak for all that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home, great location, wonderful amenities, what more can I say?

Best location in Sutton’s Bay

Terrific house in the perfect location. We loved the close proximity to Sutton’s Bay. Very easy access to Hansen’s groceries and all the great eats, shops and ice cream in SB. But also on a quiet street away from the crowds. My family loved the private beach area and the giant lawn for games. We cooked in mostly and the house was equipped with everything needed for home cooked meals. Host Mark was great at communicating up front; since everything was so smooth we never needed to contact him after check in. Would definitely stay again.

This place is amazing

The hosts thought of every single detail right down to the abundance of hangers!!! The hosts anticipated every single need! Toys, puzzles, books, DVDs, TVs, PLENTY of great beach chairs.... I could go on and on but seriously the hosts and the management company stocked this house for a great vacation. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and brought the entire family (10 of us = 6 adults and 4 children 7-13)! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Two of the guys had to work and there were great spaces to do that that were quiet (especially on the rainy days). The lawn is amazing. One night we had friends for dinner and we were able to have several games going on simultaneously. The beach is great. Loved that they had 2 kayaks and a canoe (so we didn't have to bring all of ours, just some). The sunsets were gorgeous. The neighborhood is quiet and close to Suttons Bay (you can walk, bike, run, or drive to town easily). Mark, the Manager, was absolutely amazing, answering texts quickly! He was kind, considerate, and was available for anything we needed. I was a little hesitant about travelling during COVID, I have lung diseases. The house was spotless! I totally felt at home and safe. I could go on and on, bottom line, if you are considering this property - you won't go wrong! Thank you to the owners for making the house available and to Mark who was the host extrodinaire!!!! Memories were made here.

Girls Weekend Getaway

This was a very nice property and beautiful location. We did have some trouble checking in and with communication -- the key did not work on any of the locks and when we tried to get a hold of the property manager, he did not answer. Also, just a heads up that the pictures do not show that the beach is across a busy road. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

Property was wonderful! Mark was also very helpful and extremely East to del with. Only thoughts: need more towels. We were short bathroom towels for our group and I was constantly washing them. Also remember water levels are high and beach is limited.

Perfect Family Getaway

This property was the perfect space and location for our extended-family vacation ages 11-80. Bikes, kayaks, fire pit, beach and plenty of space made this property ideal. Communication with Mark was friendly and fast. We would definitely stay here again. It was a dream vacation in the perfect location.

Wonderful Week of Pure MI!

Beautiful home that is clean and well-equipped for families (toys/games/books for all ages). We spent most of our time at the beach, which is just across the beautifully maintained front lawn and S. Shore Rd. I didn’t realize that you had to cross the street to get to the beach, so had to be extra careful with the little ones. Mark was very responsive to questions and thoughtful to let us know that there was a high chair, booster and pack n play (all VERY clean) onsite. Overall highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful week of enjoying all that pure MI has to offer!

Perfect Suttons Bay location

Rented this home with 4 couples for fall getaway. Wonderful home and wonderful view. We cook and were so pleased that the kitchen was stocked so well. Comfortable beds, nice towels, nice that there are multiple sitting areas to chat. Loved automatic fire pit out back. Loved sitting by lake with our coffee. View of colors across the bay were stunning. We will be back.
