'Our stay at Casa Botticelli exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in we were welcomed with a wonderful bottle of Chianti in our beautifully appointed room. The host helped recommend museums and local trattorias for us to visit during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful breakfast in the mornings as well as the evening sweet wine and biscotti. We can’t wait to go back to Casa Botticelli!'

'This is a beautiful and well maintained property. Our room was newly renovated and comfortable. Great shower. The air conditioning worked very well. Our biggest issue was with the check in process. We were emailed about the check in procedure and the rules, but we were never given the door code to get in. We were out on the curb in the hot sun for one and a half hours. Finally Expedia was able to contact them on our behalf and we got the code. Be sure you get your door code BEFORE you get there.'

'A beautiful room and the host went out of their way to make us feel welcome, despite never actually meeting the check-in process was seamless. The amenities were much appreciated although some instructions for the coffee machine would have been appreciated! Highly recommend'

'It is a bit far from Florence's main sights (20-30min walk) if you plan to explore the city on foot, and the first 10 minutes of the walk are not particularly picturesque. For us, it felt somewhat overpriced at €500 per night, considering it was essentially a nice room without many amenities or additional services. It felt more like an apartment rental than a boutique hotel. There is no front desk; instead, communication is handled through a single contact via WhatsApp. That person was helpful...
