'Had a wonderful stay at the Miro Kyoto/Calm Castle Nijo Hotel. It's a small hotel located in a residential street. The family room is not as big as typical western rooms but has been the perfect size for me and my family. Try to pack light so you can have space and less of a hassle bringing luggage. They do luggage receiving so there is that option. The rooms are clean and good. The beds and pillows are comfy (not as soft as western standards) and was fine for me and my family. We had a sink...

'A really nice hotel in the heart of Kyoto. Everything is clean and well-organized. There are free bicycles and umbrella’s. We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. '
