« Beautifully appointed home with great accommodation for our family of six adults and 3 children in a quiet gated community. Village was friendly and the local pub and the Italian restaurant were within easy walking distance and were perfect for our group. Interesting visit to the UK Space Centre which was hosting a Star Wars weekend was fun for everyone. Lovely part of England and Bosworth Field is close by for history enthusiasts. Would recommend this property! »

« We enjoyed our short stay at the barn. The host Jackie was very friendly and kindly allowed us the use of a field to run the dogs, which we (and they) appreciated very much. There are also lovely walks from the property and Dovedale is only a short drive away. We would definitely return if we are ever up this way again. Thank you. »

« Stayed here over the Christmas 2023 for 7 nights. As many reviewers have commented, the property is furnished to a high standard, with particularly comfortable beds. Some of the best we’ve had in a rental. The house is well located with views of Carsington Water and pub within walking distance. Lots to see and do within a short drive. « Very helpful owner who brought us cake! The property has everything you need for a group of friends, with 9-10 separate beds. Downside is it is bit cramped - particularly the kitchen and the narrow spiral staircase. But for the price it's great and we'll probably go again. »

« Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend. »

« Lovely property in quiet neighbourhood. Very close to Ashbourne town centre and it’s excellent amenities. Great value for money. Well equipped spacious property , the only area of improvement would be the cleanliness of kitchen items / fridge and wooden floors. Double beds were on small side and a little uncomfortable »

« First impressions Cromford Road a very dangerous and noisy road . Several health and safety issues.Scaffolding in the front and rear of property No keys to get out back of house. However on the whole the property met our needs. Lovely bedrooms kitchen ,bathrooms and sitting room . The games room was ideal for my grandchildren. »
