In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray and Ridgway! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Overall great experience with this rental. House was well stocked and location above Ridgeway was perfect with the most amazing views. Loved the neighborhood it was in, and still lots of privacy. Also a great place to go for a walk!

Exceptional Views!
This home is an incredible find! The views are breathtaking and the home is well-equipped for guests. Easy access to Ridgway, Ouray, and Montrose for shopping and restaurants and the nearby reservoir is fantastic for paddle-boarding and spending the day connecting with nature. We count this as one of our new favorite spots in Colorado!!!

We were rebooked to this cabin due to internet issues at our first cabin. The good: This cabin had a stunning view, like nothing I have ever seen. The new and updated kitchen was awesome and the living room had a great fireplace. The view made the rest of the issues somewhat tolerable.When we walked in there was a horrible smell, like old lunchmeat. The master bedroom also had a smell like something died in the wall. The bathrooms on the main floor were old, moldy, rusty and like mini concentration camps. Just bad, scary and gross. Luckily we found respite in the upstairs loft bathroom.Lights would turn on and off sporadically just giving an overall spooky vibe.The location was great, view wise and 15 min from town. The rental company staff were wonderful to work with and so kind and accommodating to get us into this cabin, it's a shame it wasn't a better experience. We would not stay at this property again unless the bathrooms were remodeled and we were armed.

House had the greatest view. Its a 5 start house no questioning about that. The only thing is there is no A/c and at nights we would close the door because I was nervous leaving it open all night. The bedrooms would get quite warm. During the day we could open up the doors and the wind coming in was very good. I would of Love bigger fans, This would of helped keep the rooms cooled down.

We rented both the house and apt and had lots of space. We cooked most of our meals at the house and was really able to sit back and enjoy all the views. The stairs to the upstairs are windy so probably not for the elderly or kids. A huge plus was getting to bring our dogs. The view out the back is incredible of the valley below. Enjoyed day trips to Telluride and Ouray. The "neighborhood" is very quiet. We did the hike near the house. It was warmer when we were there, which made the house warm without AC. Even with fans, it was difficult to sleep as it didn't cool down enough. Overall, would highly recommend this house.

A view to a different world!
Very relaxing and out of the rat race place to stay. The view was second to none and reminded me of my families house in the Abruzzo mountains of Italy with a view that never ends.

Great view, loft is not a bedroom
The view is absolutely incredible! Loved the large, fully equipped kitchen and the spacious great room. And the jetted tub was great! The loft area should not be advertised as a bedroom - it has 2 twin beds but is completely open to the rest of the house so unless all the adults want to sit in silence at 8pm when the kids go to bed, it's not a great sleeping area for them.

Good but not great
The property manager was extremely responsive and did do their best to meet our every need. The views are some of the best Colorado has to offer!
The house has an ongoing issue with hard water, leaving a residue on all of the dishes which is very off-putting.
The built in microwave/oven was not working. While the property manager did send someone out (we weren’t there so they didn’t go in) I also did a search in the error code and it said it wasn’t repairable. This made me think that perhaps they are aware of the issue. Especially because they have a microwave and toaster oven on the counter next to the unit. I will say they allowed us to use the oven in the rental that is above the garage but it was definitely not ideal.
The house wasn’t super clean. It could be that Inotice things more than others but

Stunning autumn scenery!
Our weekend reunion getaway was originally scheduled foe April...but due to COVID we rescheduled for October. I’m glad that we did because the autumn view was stunning from the patio area of the house. The house is beautiful and just right for our family. We’ll be back!

Stellar views
Great location, roomy house, but confusing management and puzzling architectural details. Why am I receiving this second review form? Why did I receive two different entry procedures? It's as if there are two different property managers who are not talking to each other. This property would be ideal for a married couple (master suite) with a teenager (upstairs via the tight spiral staircase) and two energetic pre-teens (up the steep ladder to the loft). Not so hot for two retired couples with bad knees and poor vision (completely dark showers). And I wouldn't take toddlers there (no fenced area in back yard, just a straight drop down the cliff). Lovely views and beautiful night sky, very quiet and peaceful.

Outstanding experience; The view is even better than advertised!
We thorougly enjoyed this house. It's location was the perfect combination - secluded but close to spots we wanted to go to - Telluride, Ouray, Black Canyon. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults and one infant and was well equipped. The view from this house is unbelievable. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Breathtaking views and beautiful home
We loved this property so much, we decided to extend our stay. The views are unparalleled and the home is lovely. This location is perfect for day trips to Ouray, Telluride and the Black Canyon, not to mention the adorable nearby town of Ridgway. We look forward to returning soon!

We had a very good week long visit, staying in Log Hill Village. We know the area well and enjoy the outdoor activities available. The home was very clean and well equipped. We took advantage of the great gas grill and beautiful outdoor patio, dining outside six of our seven nights there. We walked the “Escarpment Trail” daily, enjoying wonderful views of the Sneffels Range as well as the wildlife. If you value peace and quiet, Log Hill Village can’t be beaten. Overall we had a great experience.

We stayed at this lovely property for two nights in August. The home is beautiful and the views are majestic. A couple of things that might have improved our stay: 1) Coffee. I forgot to bring any, and I only found whole beans but no grinder or filters. 2) I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the beds were very hard and not comfortable. That was disappointing for such an elegant property. 3) The outdoor furniture was in disarray and no cushions were put out, and the wood is very splintery so we weren't happy to sit outside. This was a shame because the view is so amazing. 4) It would have been nice to know where the neighborhood hiking trails were. We looked around for any information or a map, but ended up just walking around the neighborhood rather aimlessly trying to find the trails. Also any guidance in terms of local restaurants would have been a bonus. Lastly, we struggled with the apple tv and how to get signed in to watch anything on regular tv. A little guidance on that would have been helpful. Overall the property is really fantastic and the kitchen is especially stunning.
