'The whole experience with the place stood out. First, it’s conveniently located to places where we want to venture.Free parking also was the reason why we chose to stay here. It’s clean, spacious for the 5 of us. It feels homy, The rooms are big enough, beds are comfy, we used the kitchen to help us with our budget. 'Bij dit hotel zit je midden in het centrum zonder dat het gehorig is. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer die erg schoon was. Binnen 5 minuten ben je bij busstop 14, van waaruit je alle transfers neemt naar excursies, het vliegveld etc.
Er is een bar in het hotel, daar miet je wel direct afrekenen.
Ontbijt is oké, maar er is niets warms, dus ook geen omelet of toast. En niet echt variatie.
Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in IJsland.'

'We arrived early and left our luggage to explore Reykjavik, which was no problem at all. Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, but the staff approached me later with a spontaneous offer for a complementary breakfast. And the room location turned out to not be a problem. 'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say.
The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor.

'Hotel is very good, very well maintained, nice rooms. Two downsides:
You have to use the elevator, there are no stairs, except dor emergencies.
At night it is very loud from outside with partying people. If you sleep with open windows, you have a challenge to fall asleep. '

'The Reykjavik Edition is a lovely hotel and the location is very good. Staff were very attentive. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was a very good selection of food on offer with gorgeous views overlooking the harbor. At peak times, they did run out of glasses and it took a while before they were replaced so people ended up using cups for their juice.
We were a family of 3 staying in a double queen room. There is not enough storage in the room for 3 people and we travelled pretty...
