'Black Pearl apartments were fabulous. Location was top notch. Rooms were very spacious and very well stocked with all you need in the kitchen. Veronica at the front desk was just lovely and very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here. You won’t be disappointed.'

'Hotel just in center of Reykjavik, comfortable proper rooms. Luxury bathroom. Lots of restaurants on walking distance (5-15 min). Good breakfast. One disadvantage: there is no parking facility. We paid €80 each night in the nearby parking garage (advised / proposed by the hotel reception desk), that's an expensive parking.'

'Hotel is very good, very well maintained, nice rooms. Two downsides: You have to use the elevator, there are no stairs, except dor emergencies. At night it is very loud from outside with partying people. If you sleep with open windows, you have a challenge to fall asleep. '

'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say. The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor. The room was spaceous, the beds...

'Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. '

'We arrived early and left our luggage to explore Reykjavik, which was no problem at all. Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, but the staff approached me later with a spontaneous offer for a complementary breakfast. And the room location turned out to not be a problem.
