Family vacation spot

Great place to stay for a family fun week. The the kitchen was well equipped, and they were plenty of spaces for young and old to play. The private beach connected with the property is a block away and a fun swimming area, especially for 3 to 5-year-olds all beds were comfortable all the furniture walls and we loved the screened in porch.

Wonderful game room for the kids, a small nearby beach with gradual entry and roped off swimming area, kayaks,nearby restaurants and grocery shopping. Great Family Vacation

We had the Best time during our annual ME family vacation. We have rented many homes over the years and this was one of the best. The house was perfectly laid out for families and very clean. The game room was a Big plus with the kids (and grown-ups). Kathleen, the owner, was Very easy to communicate. She responded quickly to our questions and did everything she could to make sure we had everything we needed. The house had everything you would need for your vacation. It was nice not to have to bring extra "stuff." The lake is beautiful. The community beach was quiet and only a short walk across the street. The kayaks and paddle board were an added bonus. We all loved paddling around the lake. We love this area of ME. Luckily we had beautiful weather during our stay, but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Some of the best fresh donuts and lobster rolls are only 2 minutes from the house. Overall this was a perfect vacation. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Kathleen!!!

Great for three generations!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and comfortable house. The screened in porch and patio with firepit were family favorites to hang out and chat. The game room was a great addition! We rented a boat and kept in on the mooring to enjoy the lake and visits to Frye Island.

109 Caton Rd. Was very clean and well-equipped. The owner was so nice and responsive to all our questions. The little beach on the lake was perfect for our 5-year-old twins. And the grownups enjoyed kayaking and fishing.

Great Family Memories at the Lake

The house was perfect for our group, ranging from 11 months, 7 and 9 year olds and adults. It was spacious, clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room to hang out inside and out. We enjoyed cooking out and the fire pit! The lake beach is a 2 minute walk and most days we were the only ones there. It was clean and refreshing! The boat launch was great too since we could go tubing and enjoy the sunsets!

Fantastic House

I cant say enough about this house. The house is spotless. This home is well equiped with anything you might need for your stay at the lake. We had our 86 year old grandma with us and she uses a walker, it was very easy for her to get around. The lower level was perfect for our older boys to play their video games and music. We would rent this home again in a second.

Great location and an owner that cares

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The house was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need including beach towels, bath towels, extra bedding, kitchen utensils, high-chair, pack and play, and on and on. Easy walk to the private community beach. Also, we rented a boat for the walk and the owner was kind enough to put a mooring in the water for us. Besides our 5-star stay, the only small issue was that there was no bathroom in the basement where the two other bedrooms are so you had to come upstairs each time. Overall, it was a great stay!

A week at the Lake

Kathleen is an awesome host. The property is VERY well and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen is significantly better equipped than our home kitchen. From the outdoor grill to the great coffee maker to the Kayaks to the numerous TVS s to communication to everything else Kathleen does a great job. We enjoyed our week and made some nice family memories.

Great week in Maine

Great house with all the little amenities included. From shampoo in the showers to beach chairs and games, the owner and house provide almost everything you would need. My children loved using the included kayaks and paddle board on the lake. It’s a great location to explore the White Mountains in NH to the west or the coastal towns of Maine to the east.
