'The place is about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. The walk itself doesn’t feel very safe — we saw several homeless people acting strangely and even police dealing with a fight. I wouldn’t recommend walking alone, especially in the evening.We stayed two nights. The first night was very difficult to sleep because roosters started crowing around 10 p.m. and continued until morning. The bed also had only a sheet, which felt unusual.Facilities like the bathroom and toilet were basic but...

'What a lovely spot to rest and complete my final bucket list goals while in Papeete! Directions to the location were specific and easy, I used Le Palais Patisserie for my taxi driver to find the building. Hosts Phillippe & Maheatea have an explicit manual in the apartment (multiple languages) and were quick to answer my specific inquiries, and they also have a rental car available during your stay if interested! Markets are close by, and main streets are two blocks away. The pool is refreshing...

'It was a nice and convenient spot close to the airport, a short taxi ride to the Papeete Market. Good AC and felt secure, was clean as well. '

'Location was great for our purposes. We had a cruise and wanted to be within walking distance of cruise port, market and things to do without a car. We did end up renting a car for one day tonexplore the island and having parking was a bobus.'

'We only stayed at the property for less than an hour. It's more of a hostel and our taxi driver said that the many people out front of the property were "not nice". We wanted to leave at midnight and didn't think it was safe. '
