'Staying at Casa Vanora was a highlight of our trip to Huatulco. Our ocean view room with a spectacular view of both the sunrise and sunset Well appointed, meticulously clean, comfy bed. We saw whales on 2 occasions form the hotel roof top restaurant! The manger Elio was extremely helpful everthing - transfers, restaurants and spanish lessons! We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!!'

'The facilities at Nirú are top notch, I believe the photos online don’t actually do it justice. The upstairs pool was always quiet, with very friendly and attentive bartending/waiting staff! The beach club pool and beach area are much busier with people from their other hotel in Santa Cruz and also day pass users, but we were always able to get some loungers regardless. The hotel is located right in Santa Cruz making it super convenient to walk around and walk/taxi to La Crucecita. The food is...

'Really enjoyed it. Have a great time. However, it was advertised that there was four restaurants – the seafood restaurant was not open the entire three weeks we were there. We do not eat sushi. Totally unhappy about that. That left us with only two restaurants and buffet – so for variety we had to go out to restaurants which added to our costs. Advertise four restaurants only give you three – false advertising.'

'The room was spotlessly clean. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds fly overhead and the morning scent from the forest was great. We spent at least a couple of hours at the pool each day and enjoyed lunch and drinks there. There are about 125 steps to go down to the pool or beach but the hotel will call a shuttle take you back up to your room. Staff was excellent.'

'Rooms are quality and staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has some great food, but it’s a bit expensive. Two things to note; surprisingly small pool area for how many rooms and the area is very underdeveloped. Definitely an older crowd vibe. The hotel would benefit by enforcing a bit more etiquette at the pool area around reversing sun beds, the people staying at the resort during our stay hogged the chairs and acted like they owned the place.
