Be Cautious, House is Beautiful but dirty
The house actually looked like the pictures! Itâs a beautiful home and warmly decorated. Unfortunately, there were some cleaning issues. The outside refrigerator and sink were FILTHY. I sent pictures to Salt & Sand, with no acknowledgement. The igniter on the grill didn't work. We had to burn a papertowel and hold it to light the burner. Only the front burners lite. Multiple beds were "made" but had no sheets or pillowcases on them. Luckily I found sheets and cases in a closet that had someone's clothes in it, with labeled baskets. We had to make the beds ourselves.The first pan we pulled out of the cabinet had cooked food on it and all pans had chipped Teflon. We bought a griddle so we could safely cook for the week. The master bath had a stained/moldy shower curtain, and the tub doesn't drain properly, fills up to ankle deep with each use. The pantry floor looked like dirt was swept there and left, yet I couldn't find a kitchen broom anywhere to sweep it or the dead bugs up with.
18 photos were sent to the management company with these and other issues we had. It's been roughly 2 weeks since our stay, still haven't heard a word about our cleaning issues. Bottomline, the house was GREAT but I would never rebook with any property that this management and cleaning company runs.
