'Fantantische lodge, ideaal gelegen om de cradle mountains te verkennen. De kamers zijn groot, verzorgd en mooi ingericht. Gezellige setting. Zeer goed restaurant, fantastische ontbijt en goede service! Er liggen een aantal mooie wandel tracks net achter de lodge. '

'Great spacious chalet, surroundings are amazing. 20 min drive to cradle mountain nat park with fatastic hikes and views. Acros the road good and affordable restaurant. Really enjoyed our short stay!'

'The owner was very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Would have liked a microwave in the cabin but it’s not a deal breaker. The gas log fire in the cabin was lit which made for a warm and cozy welcome when we checked in. The bed and bedding were nice, warm and comfortable. As it gets pretty cold there, electric blankets might be a nice touch, that way you don’t need to leave the gas heater on most of the night. All in all, we had a lovely time.'

'Love this property, very welcoming staff and well looked after room. Fabulous views and very peaceful and quiet. Definitely only worth a night stay as there isn’t much around and very limited food options. The restaurant was lovely and service was great! The breakfast hamper was perfect! '

'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '
