« Beautiful! Great facilities, especially suited for families with older children. Open stairs not good for very young children I'd say. Centrally located and benefiting from being close by to lots of cafes, restaurants, pubs etc but also a very quiet end of town next to the river. Lovely walk to the wildlife centre and Poppit Sands is a 10 minute drive. The best beach ever for soft buttery sand and no rocks or stones. We enjoyed a lovely swim here. « I would like to say what a lovely couple Jane and Martin are however, we felt mislead by the photographs advertising this holiday. The photos bear no resemblance to the current state of the site which is totally overgrown, this has happened over a number of years and not just a summer growth spurt. We chose this site for our dogs, we were promised a private paddock that was fenced off, the paddock was so overgrown, we couldn't even walk in it and the grass was twice as tall as our dogs who...

« Brilliant location with fantastic views over the area and a short drive to beautiful beach. Couple of small issues with cleanliness but overall everything we needed. It was very well stocked with things for the beach to save buying it whilst we were there. »

« The property was fine but the garden was inaccessible to us being very steep we couldn't let our dog off as it didn't look secure or even take it down on a lead as we didn't want to attempt to get down there. Also the balcony being open at one end to the front was not secure to let dog out there offlead. As it rained every day we were not able to use it much but had to keep dog on a lead. I think this should be mentioned in the description. »
