My buddy and I stayed here for 4 nights July 21-25. The place is clean and very comfortable. Itâs a trailer camper, so itâs tight quarters, small kitchen, bathroom, but is perfect when simply sleeping, showering, and cooking breakfast before hitting the water all day. Ross has a spare refrigerator/freezer in an out building next to the unit and the lot is great for boat/truck parking. Heâs got outlets everywhere for plugging in each evening. There are a number of great restaurants in the area, Sugarbush Tavern and Bad Bradâs BBQ were our favorites. I plan to rent from Ross again next year.
I had the impression from the previous ratings that this was a good VRBO, it was not. The fridge did not work, there was a string on the inside of the bathroom to tie the door closed, the stove was on the fritz. No TV, it was seriously out of level, the shower was 30 seconds of warm water, then it was a Navy shower.
This property was clean and in a great location, but it was just a step above tent camping. This property should be removed from the site until the many issues are resolved.
The owner is running two accounts and is double booking. He bought another camper and jammed it in. We had to stay in another camper that I did not book. Ended up having to park the boat in his side yard for the 1st night. The camper just got there and was not equipped. Says it has grill, we brought stuff to grill, but there was no grill. The gravel drive is very large stone so be careful. We had two falls because of footing in the dark. The camper was new and just parked there. We had to remove the plastic off of mattresses. Camper was very unstable, could use some stabilizing jacks or something. Listing needs updated for accuracy. I hate paying for one thing and getting another. My big worry was having a boat and being able to park it safely and securely. So, accuracy of listing is a must. This was not accurate. Beware of double booking and space if you have a boat.
