B&B in Maine

'Incredibly clean hotel with lovely personnel. Even though some things were a bit dated, the cleanliness made all up for that. Also the complimentary breakfast was a good wat to start the day. '

'We haven't seen any staff at al! We checked in at 3.30 , not late, but the key was in the mailbox, our room was in another building, no heating ( it was freazing last night) and no extra blancket. Breakfast was not what we expected and again no one was there! We made the decision to go to a Bed and Breakfast because it is so much more personal then a hotel but that is difficult when no one is there or shows up!'

'Perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. We could walk to all the spots in town. Chris, the house manager was personable, knowledgeable and most importantly, present every day. We stayed in the top floor room #10. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning easy to regulate and the shower was outstanding!!!! 'No TV, no microwave, no fridge, no ice machine, no AC as advertised. I paid for sea side view but the water view was almost non existent. The window locks were broken and did not lock. The outside windows screen frames were held together with duct tape. The wifi was terrible not at all as advertised. I booked this for our 20th wedding anniversary so was totally embarrassed when we showed up. The photos in the listing do not match the property as it sits today. Not sure how they even got a 9.2...
