'Room was spacious, appreciated the kitchen for our 5 day stay. We used the laundry, an added bonus. The air conditioning did not work but the front desk was very helpful. It was cool enough to open the windows wide so that helped. There was a bus stop just down the road which took us right downtown. '

'DeBrett is a beautiful hotel, with a very original interior design. Location is perfect in downtown Auckland. Room was clean, service good. The free daily drink in the guest-only library room is a very nice feature and gives the hotel a home-like feeling. Complimentary continental breakfast is basic but good. 'The Braemar on Parliament Street is a treasure from another time when the world was slower and craftsmanship and quality meant something. 'Fantastic place to stay in Auckland! This hotel is a mere 5 minute walk from the SkyBus stop to the airport which made it extremely convenient for us. The staff were helpful, the room was clean (and quiet) and our overall experience was great. Definitely recommended for a stay in Auckland.
