'Nice and spacious room above a stylish, renovated pub. Friendly staff and buses, bicycles and underground nearby.
The spanish style menu in the pub is bit overpriced compared to the many options around. The pub closes before midnight so no worries about noise in the night, it’s very quiet.'

My experience:
The good. Location excellent. Staff at check in, nice enough.
The bad. Room filthy with mould. Marks all over the walls, unknown fluids on surfaces. Tiles in bathroom floor broken and lifting as their is no grout left. Shower not draining. I did not sleep under the duvet out of concearn. Towels not changed or room maintained on a four night stay. Even the little outdoor area featured...

'Airco didn’t work - reception told me somebody would be with me in 5 minutes - took more than one hour, after a few calls to reception to remind. Engineer told me he had repaired - just not true. Called again - hotel refused further work. As a frequent traveller, this is very much unlike the standard Mercure experience.'
