Herenhuizen in Lombardije

'De kamer is vrij gehorig en de douche is erg klein. De badkamer is oud maar is brandschoon, net als de slaapkamer. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en geeft tips over het openbaar vervoer. Het is een prima plek om korte tijd te verblijven. Niets bijzonders maar wel erg schoon.'

'Location ks amazing, 1 minute walk from the trainstation and the lake. Only negative is that there are a lot of young people hanging out on the street at night so it gets pretty loud.'

'This is a very unique place to stay, the hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, they picked us up from the train station gave us a quick tour and gave us some very helpful advice. It’s a way from the crowds of Varenna, Bellagio and Menaggio, just a short distance to Varenna by train. It’s very tranquil clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful area for a walk down to the beach, take the path straight to the centre of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would love to go back someday...

'1週間滞在しましたが快適に過ごせました。 中心地にはトラムや地下鉄バスが利用できます。お隣の建物にスーパーがあります。'

'Een heerlijk rustige locatie met super vriendelijk personeel. Onze hond werd doormodderen vertroeteld. We hadden een heerlijk verblijf '

'Breakfast was good with nice views. To bad there was a highway between the hotel and the lake. A lot of traffic noises made for a les nice experience. Sitting on the balcony or terrace was loud. Room were pretty small with cheap floors and ikea furniture. Shower had mould in it. So overal not worth the steep price in my opinion. '

'Ja topp!!'

'Very nice room for the price. Super clean. Not many shops near that were open past 8/9pm'

'Clean property, management good about help, overall a good stay, but has some ways in which it can be outstanding.'

'Based on the reviews, I was expecting more. I think ‘hotel’ is a bit of a stretch. There’s no permanent reception, just rooms. It’s well located, it was clean and the shower was hot. However, the furniture is incredibly basic, the bedding is cheap, and even with the curtains drawn its light and there is a lot of street noise - they do provide earplugs. If I was feeling ungenerous, I would say it has a private hostel feel. Perhaps I misunderstood the listing and previous reviews - luckily we were...
