'The staff were very friendly and helpful, from check in to check out, the breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice and good quality food. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean ..have no complaints. The hotel itself is not easy to find without the use of a satnav, but being in a quiet location and with the comfy bed a good night’s sleep was guaranteed. '

'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also...

'The Burlton Inn was excellent for our needs, being halfway home from Southampton to our home for an overnight stop. The pub itself was very attractive, and the local beer was rally good. The accomodation was fine. The rooms were in an adjacent cottage style annexe, just across the large car park. The choice of evening meals was wide, and the food was good. Breakfast was continental only, but very healthy. Would we stay there again? YES!
