'Had a lovely room overlooking the sea. Rooms were warm and quirky and bed very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly which means a lot. And the food was amazing. Would definitely go back.'

'We found the Belmont House Hotel easily, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. The hotel itself is lovely, with tasteful décor, and our room was comfortable. Unfortunately, our stay was quite affected by the noise that evening. The bar was closed for a private event, and there was loud music and quite a bit of rowdiness both outside and around the main lobby area. 'This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.'
