  • Beautiful property surrounded by lush vegetation with lots of privacy next to the forest and a beautiful stream. Ideal for families or groups of friends. 10 minutes from the main attractions of the area (hot springs, theme parks, National Park, among others).
    We have air conditioning, wifi, armchairs, tv, the house is very well equipped, the place is super quiet and is very close to the center of La Fortuna, just 10 minutes from downtown.

dit vakantiehuis ligt in een landelijke omgeving en aan een rivier in Peñas Blancas. Baldi-warmwaterbronnen en Los Lagos-warmwaterbronnen zijn enkele plekken die je niet mag overslaan als je iets actiefs wilt doen. Als je liever de natuur intrekt, kan dat bij La Fortuna-waterval en Arenal Volcano National Park. Arenal Adventure World en Puentes Colgantes del Arenal zijn ook een bezoek waard. Very nice house with a pool, and a great base to explore the area

Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.

Unfortunately, due to the big snowstorm that came across the United States, we were not able to make our trip. That being said that was no fault of the hosts. They were very gracious and were great in communicating with us. I hope when we get to rebook our Costa Rica vacation, this home is available because I was really looking forward to staying there.

AC worked great, the property was immaculate and spacious. The pool received a lot of direct sunlight, making it warm and a favorite among the family. The master suite was comfortable, and we loved the shower in the bathroom. We had minor issues checking in due to Google Maps stopping us one driveway early, and the doorcode instructions were a little confusing the first time. The area is a little remote, but we expected that going into the mountains. There are plenty of grocery options if you are willing to cook food, and some local restaurants, but don't expect a ton of options to eat out. Overall, this was our second-favorite property during our 8-day stay out of 5 properties total.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners/hosts were available and thorough in all communication. The home was well equipped. The bathrooms were luxurious! We loved the location - close enough to the town of La Fortuna, but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounded us. The maintenance man took us to see 3 sloths on the property and shared some fruit with us that grew there.

This house was amazing and fit our family of 5 perfectly! Everyone had their own space and slept great. The patio was perfect to relax, eat a meal and watch the kids swim (even in the rain). The kitchen was great for cooking in on the nights we were too tired to go out. The property is beautiful and has two sloths living there (the owner pointed them out to us multiple times) and my kids even named one of them. It was a perfect location and very quiet but also located close to numerous activities. We were very sad to leave. Thank you for an amazing trip.

Great home. It's one of those places that you instantly start thinking about when you might return there again. We came with kids this time but the house is so nice and with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we thought it would be perfect to return with a group of friends. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it. We also saw 3 different sloths right there on the property. This was by far the nicest and best equipped home we stayed at during our trip.

This property was an outstanding stay for us! Two adults, travelling with 1 adult child. Clean, well kept, modern build house, with a spectacular pool/waterfall and a well manicured yard. This property is a great place off the beaten path but close to everything. We would definitely come back!

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful time here. House was well equipped, had everything we needed. We were 2 families with both young kids and teens. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room is small but plenty of chairs at table and bar. The pool was nice. AC works great! Arnaldo was very responsive. House was very clean. Highly recommend. You will need to drive into La Fortuna and at night the drive can be bit tricky with people walking along the narrow roads. Don’t be surprised with bugs visiting you..you are in the rainforest!

Very nice property. Lots of room, clean and a great pool.

Big house, lots of beds and bath for multiple couples. Tucked back in a gated area with lots of surrounding nature. Could use some bedside lighting and a few more pieces of furniture, but that is literally it. Map on listing shows property RIGHT on the edge of La Fortuna (maybe their office) but it is actually about a 15 minute trip into town...especially at night and in the rain.

We felt very, very safe in this gated little neighborhood with the owner living within the neighborhood or at least his daughter was there to help us out. The house was immaculate!
