'Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!'

'Lidiana is an incredible host. She made us feel very welcome. The house is lovely. She even holds cooking classes but we weren't able to participate this time. Her home is surrounded by a lovely garden and animals. The only thing missing is an outlet in the bathroom. There is air conditioning in the main part of the house, but the bedrooms had fans. Parking was very easy as well. The downtown area is conveniently located as well. The mojitos were delicious. We would definitely stay here...

'The property was in a nice family neighborhood, with friendly helpful neighbors, and a gorgeous view that was accurate as shown in the photos. We loved El Castillo overall. The host advertised this via Expedia as "Entire place - You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" and that is what I expected we were reserving and paying for. We got there and found it was 2 separate studio rentals on levels 1 and 2 of the house. The landlady was nice...
