'Perfect size apartment for 2 people. Private parking at the residence is a big plus. It is quiet. We did not hear any noise from other guests. Many shops to browse, and tours of The Old Jail and Asa Packer Mansion. Would recommend this property.'

'This was a lovely place to stay in Jim Thorpe. We arrived by bicycle and were thrilled to find the nice little extra touches provided (cold seltzer in the fridge, shampoo, etc in the shower). It was a nice walk into town for dinner as well. '

'The fresh eggs from our host's chickens were wonderful as was the bread and butter. Minor problem -- there was no toaster for the bread and there was a small toaster oven, but the cord was 1' long and there was no extension cord. We tried to move it but it had a microwave on top of it and that almost led to disaster. Our hostess was very gracious when we overslept (no windows and our alarm didn't go off) and allowed us an extra hour to leave. She also graciously left us some milk, which we...

"This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty in there. I wouldn't blacklight it. The location was convenient. This is the kind of place you stay when there's no other option and that's why I chose it. My sister joked that the M stands for Murder. "
