'We stayed in an apartment in an adjacent building. The decor was vibrant and colorful in a style perhaps reminiscent of the 1920's. It was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The location was convenient, walkable to shops and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was okay, but not remarkable. The breakfast room got very noisy with the clatter of dishes when the employees started setting up the tables for the lunch service and clearing away breakfast items. This happened all three days we were there....

'I stayed at the Pullman Auckland for a period of 20 nights. Upon check-in room availability was limited and I was put in a room on the 5th floor for which the carpet was simply dirty and needed replacement. Little annoyed by a comment of one of the male receptionist but the other staff was very professional and secured me a room on a different floor with newer carpet etc. which was fine. Overall space in the room was good and the bed was nice (not a big fan of the pillows as they were too...
