'Mini Sainsburys and post office were within yards away and very useful. I would have liked a few more small shelves in bathroom and I couldn’t even see myself in the mirror in the lounge so couldn’t understand what it was there for (maybe for decorative purposes!). 'Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress. The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage. Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by. Home is clean. Host is good with communication. Definitely would stay again.'

'This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum.... Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery.
