Glover-Archbold Park

There was a great deal of construction outside the hotel, so a bit frustrating trying to get an uber, etc. Not super convenient to walk to places, but we did. Lots of cute restaurants and bars in the area. One of the elevators was broken the entire time we were there. I got the strong sense it has been broken for a long time. They did offer coffee near the front desk, but (and maybe this is just me), I found it super annoying there was either no garbage can or the small one they had was overflowing. This was 4 feet away from the front desk. I was also annoyed a bit that the day before our departure, I asked for a late check out. They told me I would have to check the morning of. I called first thing and they indicated they don't do that. Just say no on first contact and manage expectations. They did store our luggage for us, The room was very nice. Bed comfortable. Shower was nice. Room was large. Felt very safe. Did not eat/drink at the restaurant so can't comment.

Wat een heerlijk hotel. Top lokatie, naast Capitol Hill en zo naar de Mall. Erg fijne medewerkers die super behulpzaam zijn.

I have noticed that hotels put you in the worst room on the worst floor when using Expedia. This hotel did the same for us, which is frustrating giving that it’s empty and they easily could’ve given us a room that wasn’t on the second floor in the corner of the hotel. The most frustrating part of the Hotel experience was the bed was absolutely terrible, lopsided, and uncomfortable. I made a mistake. Trusting this Hotel brand to be equivalent to other five star hotels. The comfort was terrible. The hotel staff were neutral to unhelpful. I would strongly recommend not staying at this hotel, and I personally would be very reluctant to trust this brand again
