Nice convenient spot

Great beach house

Enjoyed our stay and proximity to beach and to Galveston proper! Would have enjoyed it being equipped with mosquito repellant as they were horrible and all stores were short supplied! TVs in bedroom would have been awesome as house is set up for adults and relaxing after a long day at beach and play would have been nice to relax in bed and watch TV but very clean and enjoyed the stay and gift basket upon arrival!

Memorial Weekend at Jamaica Beach

It was a nice place to stay for Memorial Weekend. The only problem was the light over the stairs did not work, so going up and down in the dark was somewhat difficult. But the rest of the stay was great.

Pictures Don’t Do it Justice- Just Rent It!!

We rented this on very short notice. We were not very sure of what we were going to get when looking at the pictures. But from the moment we walked in…it was absolutely PERFECT. It was super clean and decorated very nicely for what we needed. You can’t ask for a better location. It is literally one block from the beach. It has a corner store with everything you need located steps away. The air-conditioning is super cold and the beds are very comfortable and even had an adjustable bed in one room which my mother really loved. It does share a bathroom which we were concerned about. But I’m here to tell you that it is laid out so well, that was not even a problem. The downstairs is a great place to hang out. It’s covered with lots of shade and has a beautiful tiki bar to sit around and watch the outdoor TV. It also has an outdoor shower, as well as an additional shower and bathroom downstairs for people to use. There was lots of beach stuff to use as well like kids buckets , kits, a few chairs, ect. There was a full size futon upstairs that makes into a bed along with a sleeper sofa. The only real negative Is that if you plan on using the sleeper sofa, that you bring a mattress pad to make it comfortable. I will DEFINITELY return with my family.

Pineapple vacation in Jamaica Beach

This property was very clean on arrival with a great gift basket for my family and our small dog. Everything worked great. Only one block from the beach. The biggest and greatest part of this property for me was the adjustable bed, I have a very bad back and was able to sleep all night every night. The outside shower and bathroom was great while using the Tiki Bar and grill. We were extremely happy with our stay at the Pineapple by the sea property.

Last Minute Getaway

We decided last minute that Galveston sounded like a great idea for the weekend and our VRBO did not disappoint. It was exactly the way it was described and we enjoyed the upstairs patio and the seating area downstairs. Hammock was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated!

Great property!

Pineapple by the Sea was a great property! Wonderfully updated. Good location. Well stocked. Only suggested improvements: new washer/dryer. Washer left rust spots and dryer wouldn’t come on. Also new living room sofa is needed. Cushions are flat and sunken. Otherwise was great.

Pineapple by the Sea

This was our first VRBO experience and really enjoyed it! It was so great to have a house with a kitchen and all the necessities. The location was perfect as well. There is a local grocery store within minutes of the house and a great restaurant and bar within walking distance. Jamaica Beach is quiet and the beach is great!

Vacay2021

We enjoyed our stay. There were a few hiccups but nothing drastic. The only thing that needs immediate attention is the washing machine. The hoses are plumbed wrong. The cold hose says cold but it is only hot water. Shrunk a few clothes because we washed on the cold cycle . But our stay was wonderful. House was big enough for our autistic son and his emotional support dog to stretch out.

Super comfortable!!

A super nice place to stay! My family really enjoyed the dining table as it was big enough to seat all 5 of us. The beds were also very comfortable and even better than some of our beds back home! A huge bonus was the convenience store being just a minute away via car- we stopped there multiple times to pick up snacks, ice, and grilling supplies.

Will definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed my time here. Check-in and check-out were easy and contactless. I was insistent on finding a place with lots of outdoor seating and a grill. This place had that and plenty more. The grill was a full-featured Weber, which I used to cook large dinners for my parents who live on the island. I left behind a charcoal chimney, some tumbleweeds, matches, and hickory and cherry wood chips for the power users. The kitchen had everything you could need and all types of utensils - bottle openers, spatulas, nice kitchen knives. Good selection of Keurig k-cups. For the mattress snobs, fortunately for me, the mattress I slept on (there are two beds) was on the firmer side. You can see the waves of the beach from the porch, and the porch is adjacent to a large field with grazing cattle, so even though it’s a short walk to the beach, you really feel like you have plenty of space. The wifi was great - I got 20 ms ping and decent download/upload rates. For cell service, I got full bars LTE with AT&T. The best part was really the responsiveness of the property manager. I was able to extend my trip twice and get someone on the phone on short notice when I had a question about the trash. I thank them for making me feel supported. I would say two couples or two adult friends could stay here with plenty of space to move around each other. It looks dog-friendly, too.
