We had a great stay. The location was great and the house was big enough for our entire family. It was nice and clean and they even had coffee for us. Very nice!!

Overall, we were not impressed with this rental for the following reasons. Cleanliness - very poor cleaning services at this property considering a cleaning fee is included with rental price. The mold in the bathtub shower needs to be removed and repaired. The microwave had food crumbs on the turntable. I pulled out several dished that had food crusted on them. Thankfully, the refrigerator was spotless clean. The couch could use a steam clean due to the wear and visitors it's seen. I would like to leave some positive notes:Front porch is inviting and quaint. The back porch deck is nice craftsmanship and could see how that would be fun during warmer months. The mattresses were comfortable.

Kitchen had the basics. I did bring my own pan to roast chicken in. We did have to rewash a number of the dishes before we could use them as they did not look clean. I wish people would treat the houses and amenities as if they are their own and leave things as they would like to come in to. Can't blame the owners for everything as there is not enough time to have to wash everything each visit. I wish there were chairs on the deck upstairs. The stairs up are very narrow and steep, so my inlaws could not climb up there. Beautiful view from up there tho.

Property worked for our famioy of 6 plus dog. Easy to find. Liked the fire pit. Some spaces were a litle tight. Everything worked. Floors are a little uneven.

House was dirty and we were all covered in some kind of long white dog hair. All over couch, all beds had long white dog hair all over them, fur under beds, my family all had dog hair all over us and some are allergic and now sick from it. Fingernail clippings on bed. Outlet at head of bed exposed. Good thing a little kid not in there Bugs and roaches running around. Floors have broken slats and they slide if you walk on them This place needs a serious clean up and get rid of all this animal hair

Things were clean and the proximity to the beach was very nice. The linoleum flooring in the kitchen is peeling up in a few places and scratched a foot, but that's the only negative thing about the property. Great experience overal!

Before we even made it in the front door, every person in our group received a dozen mosquito bites. There was no way we could even think about using the outdoor amenities. The kitchen floor is breaking apart and unsafe. We killed 50 mosquitoes in the house and a cockroach. We find partially chewed food in the bathroom and in one bedroom. We had to rewash dishes and pans in order to use them. Will not stay here again. Beds were clean and comfortable as was the couch. House sleeps 13 but only four chairs at a tiny kitchen table. Family room floor is so uneven our rolling suitcases rolled all the way across the room. One bathroom sink doesn’t work at all.

pool was great !!! we are in our 60s going out to pool a bit challenging for older people with hip and knee problems . need an xtra step going out the house to pool area .a real busy street alot of traffic , people cutting across from secondary road to main rd. day and nite . everything else was great

Stayed with some friends, we had a really good time, property was clean, safe and convenient. Everything needed was provided, plenty of room to enjoy our time there. Though we know Texas and it’s summer mosquitos are relentless, that was our only complaint, it was hard to enjoy the outdoors/pool after nightfall.

They are a lot of things wrong with this house. It needs work done. The blinds didn’t have anything to open and close them with the floor was broke up into pieces and walking out the side where the washer and dryer is almost fell down the stairs or loose I will be sending pictures. I was very disappointed in the house sheets had stains and the water hose did not work on the outside was very disappointed. Going to send pictures. and the kitchen area on the kitchen counter had sugar ants. We spend 40 on Crumbl cookie and the ants were all over them when we got back from the beach and the pool was not clean the floor in the kitchen needs lots of work so the pictures were misleading sorry very sad and disappointed

Renter beware! This house is accommodating to a large crowd and the location is great BUT, the mold in the vents, the floor coming apart, the broken bed, and the hot back bedrooms are NOT WORTH the price. We had a group of 12 people, including babies. The lack of cleanliness, hot rooms, bed that couldn’t be used, and the bed missing sheets were a problem for our group. Upon arrival the lock box with our key and code given was open and missing, this is a concern to know the safety of our stay could have been compromised. This house was a disappointment, and the mold was a MAJOR issue. The shed was locked on arrival, the next morning the shed was open and the lock was missing. The kitchen cabinet upper was barely hanging onto the wall, and looked as if it would fall at any moment.

We loved our stay at this property. It was clean and a great location. The beds were comfortable and accommodated my family of six nicely. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and pool. We definitely recommend and stay here again.

Amazing!!!

Everything was just as listed. Had so much fun and would definitely stay again! Everyone was so impressed with the house, and asked for the details! The beds were so comfortable, the pool was the right temperature! Check in was smooth, as well as check out! The host was great at communicating too!

This house was absolutely disgusting. Mold growing on the ceilings, mold growing on the bathroom cabinets, on the walls all over the bathroom, absolute filth everywhere you looked, the couch spelled horrible. When you walk in it smells of mildew, the sheets on the bed were not clean. The ac is awful and the back rooms stay hot. The pictures show ceiling fans in all the rooms, which is false. Its not steps from the beach its located across from a busy road and at the corner of two other busy roads, the pool was so gross my kids didn't even want to swim in it. The floors are sinking in and buckling everywhere, roaches are crawling all over the house. And it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. BEWARE DO NOT BOOK!!!!!! This house was so gross we never once took our shoes off!

Flooring issues and the filth all over the house- look under the cabinets the entire homes baseboards looked this way. DISGUSTING

Do Not Stay here!!! The place was not clean. Notified Beach Box immediately and they proceeding to argue that it was cleaned before our arrival. Asked for pics and I sent them 20 something pics of the condition. Sent message saying received photos to stand by and NEVER HEARD BACK!!m Food everywhere, sticky substance with hair in it on the bed. Not to mention what appeared to be possible MOLD on the bathroom wall. The patio had trash and broken glass everywhere. There are holes in the flooring. The kitchen floor is so messed up if you don't wear shoes you could lose a toe or two. Just hoping to prevent this from happening to someone else.
